About the Author
John Norris Wood ran the Natural History Illustration course at the Royal College of Art in London for many years. He is widely and rightly regarded not only as a very fine illustrator, but also as an artist. (He has exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy, the Natural History Museum, the V&A and the Society of Wildlife Artists). A former pupil of John Norris Wood's at London's Royal College of Art, Kevin Dean is best known for his illustrations of plants. In this book, he painted the plants, while John painted the animals. Judy Goldman is bilingual and has over 20 books published in Mexico, the US and Germany. Amongst them are Los huesos sagrados and ¡Vamos a comer flores!, Ediciones SM, chosen for the government reading program, and Uncle Monarch and the Day of the Dead, Boyds Mills Press.
