About the Author Winifred Gibson Strickland has trained thousands of handlers and their dogs in her obedience classes, and has won an extraordinary number of awards in the field. She has earned 121 Obedience titles with dogs she has trained and shown, including a record number of First Place Awards, Highest Combined and Highest Single Scores in Show, 40 Perfect Scores, and Highest Aggregate Scores. She has also been awarded 50 Companion Dog titles, 35 Companion Dog Excellent titles, 23 Utility Dog titles, 4 Tracking titles, 1 National Victor Award, 3 Obedience Trial Champions, and 5 National Obedience Champion Awards.
