Synopses & Reviews
Fletcher, the popular canine hero of Elizabeth Levy and Mordicai Gerstein's Something Queer series, is back with another case of his own to solve -- with some help from his human pals Jill and Gwen, and his tongue-twister-loving flea buddy, Jasper.
Someone's trying to sabotage the masked ball for pets that's celebrating the opening of the new park in town. In spite of evidence pointing to a young park ranger, Fletcher refuses to believe she's the culprit. How can anyone who loves salami -- and shares it with a certain basset hound -- be a villain? But can he prove her innocence in time to save her job?
Synopsis
Fletcher would much rather nap than dance, but he's still upset when someone tries to ruin the masked ball celebrating the opening of a new park. Could it be the annoying squirrel who doesn't want to share his wooded home with a bunch of humans and, even worse, dogs? Or maybe the young park ranger who's always getting mysterious calls on her cell phone?
Fletcher is sure she's innocent. After all, how could anyone who likes salami (and is willing to share it with a certain basset hound) be a villain? But can his unerring nose unmask the real culprit before the dance turns into a disaster?
