About the Author
An Alaskan since 1969, Cecilia "Pudge" Kleinkauf is an attorney and a retired university professor. For more than sixteen years, her company, Women's Flyfishing, has taught women how to fly fish and taken them on guided trips throughout Alaska to find the best fishing for salmon, trout, char, Arctic grayling, and other species. Off-season, she leads saltwater fly fishing excursions to Mexico. Wide published on the subject of flyfishing, Kleinkauf is a regular at outdoor shows, stores, and clubs, where she gives clinics and demonstrations. She is a contributing editor for Fish Alaska magazine and a regular contributor to many other fly fishing publications. She has been "special explorer" for the Alaska Magazine Television series on PBS since its inception.
