Synopses & Reviews
Synopsis
Continuing the "Crystal for America" series, this volume covers pressed patterns, cuttings, etchings, and decorations, and includes the popular Coin, Colony, and Century patterns, the Henry Ford Museum Collection, and a host of other patterns, collections, and giftware produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in its last 42 years. Milk glass and Ebony glass have their own complete sections, as do the pieces introduced in the American and Navarre patterns during these years. Original company materials and 80 color photographs are featured throughout the book. Once again, authors Milbra Long and Emily Seate have meticulously traced the history of each piece in every pattern in order to ensure comprehensive listings of pieces and production dates. The book is beautifully designed and easily used, with clear new color photographs and hundreds of vintage catalog illustrations throughout.
