About the Author
David Baird is a writer, editor, and translator based in Austin, Texas.
Eric Peterson lives in Denver, Colorado, and writes about all sorts of subjects, including but not limited to travel, business, politics, music, skiing, and environmental issues. He is the author of several Frommer’s guides and Ramble Texas (Fulcrum Books, 2010). Peterson's byline has appeared in such publications as the New York Daily News, High Country News, Westwood, and ColoradoBiz.
Neil E. Schlecht was reared in North Dallas. He attended Plano Senior High School, returned for graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, and married a fellow Texan. Now living in northwestern Connecticut, he is the author and co-author of more than a dozen travel guides, including Frommer’s Peru, and is the author and photographer of Buenos Aires Day by Day and Mallorca & Menorca Day by Day. His Texas heroes are Ann Richards, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore.
