About the Author
Barbara Puett is a golf instructor to 500-1000 beginning students each year. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a former physical education and science teacher in the Austin public school system, she has competed and won amateur golf tournaments at the state and local level for two decades. She was named Golf Teacher of the Year by the Austin American-Statesman in 1989. Her comments on golf etiquette have been featured in
USA Today and
Golf Illustrated. The mother of three children, she lives in Austin with her husband, Roane.
Jim Apfelbaum is a freelance writer, editor, and entrepreneur. A Philadelphia native, Jim now lives in Austin with his wife, Sandra, three cats, and a growing collection of golf memorabilia. He prefers to walk and carry his own clubs. A contributor to Illustrated and Golf Journal, this is his first book.
