About the Author
For more than twenty years, Lee McCarthy has taught high school and championed literature and free speech in Bakersfield. Co-Winner of the 1991 Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize, McCarthys poems have appeared in Amelia, Art/Life, Barrow Street, Solo, Verve, and in Beyond the Valley of Contemporary Poets anthology.
