Synopses & Reviews
Travel with us through the depths of the Grand Canyon to places few humans have ever gone. The latest in fine hardcover books from Arizona Highways features the work of Craig Childs, the best of a new breed of nature writers, and Gary Ladd, who has hiked and photographed the Canyon for nearly two decades. Together they focus on the vast expanse below the North and South rims: the waterfalls, the streams, the side canyons, the rock formations, the petroglyphs, and the entire course of the Colorado River through the Canyon.
Grand Canyon: Time Below the Rim celebrates the 75th anniversary of Arizona Highways. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to the Grand Canyon Foundation, which supports the educational efforts and visitor services of Grand Canyon National Park. Contains 150 never-before-published photographs.
