About the Author
Carola Grindea was a piano professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London from 1968 to 1990. In 1978 she founded the European Piano Teachers' Association and the Piano Journal in 1980. Her research led to the founding of the International Society for the Study of Performance.
