Synopses & Reviews
A new edition of the Classic Guns N'Roses biography 'The Band That Time Forgot', first published in April 2004, now fully revised to include further details of the impending Chinese Democracy album [the first new material to feature Axl Rose in over 10 years], and now penciled in for a summer 2005 release. The revised edition also includes a new chapter on Guns' spin off band Velvet Revolver [featuring Slash, Duff and Matt from the original Guns' line up, along with Scott Weiland, the ex lead vocalist from Stone Temple Pilots], whose debut album 'Contraband' has sold 5 million copies worldwide since its release in Spring 2004.
During their heyday in the late 1980s and early 1990s Guns N' Roses were the world's favourite rock band and sold more than 20 million albums during that period. Although the key members Axl Rose and Slash went their seperate ways in 1994, an have neither recorded nor played together since, [some rumours suggest they haven't spoken either ], Axl kept the name and has continued to tour, being particularly active over the past three years by taking a brand new incarnation of the band out on the road but under the Guns N' Roses moniker.
This book features many exclusive intewrviews with key players in the Guns' story including ex members, many who worked for and with the band, and several hangers on, including a real live Guns N' Roses groupie.
Completed with 16 pages of full colour phortographs, this new edition adds plenty to the original text and also features a brand new cover design
