Synopsis
Health and Alcohol, two diametrically opposite ends. Can they meet? Addiction is dependence, whether on tea, coffee, a person, or food. In this book, Dr Sumit elaborates on his experiments with single malt whisky and its influence on our health from the foundations of both modern research and Ayurveda, the world's oldest medical science. Being an Ayurveda practitioner for over 16 years, his study is derived from his clinical observations, medical research studies, and tracing the history of alcohol consumption and use across the world. This book provides lucid yet fascinating insights about single malt whisky and what is required for its healthy consumption. Connoisseurs of malt whisky, whisky enthusiasts, and even the casual drinker may find this work valuable to deepen their knowledge about single malt whisky and other spirits.
Synopsis
Turning towards Ayurveda for your health can be as simple as enjoying a glass of smooth, single-malt scotch whiskey every night. Single malt whisky is good for you. Am I crazy? No. Well, maybe just a little. But in this case, there is actually something to my madness. You might be wondering how on earth drinking an alcoholic beverage could be considered healthy, but that's the beauty of Āyurvedic algorithms which focusses only on maximising internal adaptability by expanding the immense possibility of Agni or cellular metabolism. Here the unique composition of Single Malt Whisky serves as a catalyst. So not only does it taste better than other liquors (don't take my word for it, though-try it), but it also has some pretty awesome health benefits as well Single malt whisky is an anti-aging liquid. Drinking a little bit of single malt whisky every day on foundations of Āyurvedic algorithms offers numerous benefits. It protects the heart, keeps the mind sharp, and reduces anxiety. Not only will drinking single malt whisky aid in digestion and improve your mood, it can even lower your risk of cancer. Non-drinkers will soon be jealous of your youthful looks. Single malt whisky helps you maintain optimal weight by dynamically modifying your metabolism. This prevent wrinkles and maintains collagen integrity of your skin.
I sampled 500 different single malt Scotch whiskies over 4 years according to the algorithms laid out in the 5,000 year old Ayurvedic text, Ćaraka Samhitā. After sampling each whisky (and documenting their health data), I came up with a drinking algorithm that would be considered optimal for one's health. In this journey I also developed a special yogic breathing technique called SFAIM BREATH. It is something you must explore to turn whisky to an elixir. With these algorithms, you can effectively track your heath data and determine the optimal parameters for drinking a glass of whisky. I have compiled my painstaking research in a very easy to grasp flow through my book .Read my book to see how whisky plays a role in increasing longevity & preventing ageing.

Synopsis
The timeless Āyurvedic six rasa algorithm gives an expansive non-linear access to the sum totality of human neurohormonal enzymatic intelligence that defines our emotional and physical dynamism with cosmos. However, we are restricted by the linear access we have to it due to our social and moral programming.Of this, the kaśāya rasa or astringent complex is least known or accessible. Āyurvedic algorithms elaborate its existence in aged alcohol, which finds expression in single malt whisky.
Dr. Sumit Kesarkar (aka WhiskyBaba) sampled over 500 whiskies over four years according to these algorithms laid out in the timeless Āyurvedic text, Ćaraka Samhitā, finally finding this astringent access in certain single malt Scotch profiles. His work resulted in this book, which outlines how to harness the power of this astringent complex, which powers our internal emotional and physical adaptability towards cosmos by unlocking agni or cellular metabolism. Whilst grounded in years of research, this book is less focused on academic theory, and instead elaborates on one's own potential for experiential expansion through these algorithms by providing application methods, including the development of the yogic Sfaim Breath, developed by Dr Kesarkar to give direct access to this neurohormonal enzymatic hormonal complex which activates cleansing of the macro and micro channels.
This book covers:
- The history of single malt whisky and its ethno-medicinal uses.
- Single malt whisky journey from grain to bottling and the relevance of its creation methods for accessing astringency.
- A scientific explanation of the health benefits of single malt.
- Simple explanation of Āyurvedic algorithms that turn whisky into an elixir.
- Āyurvedic algorithms that define how to best drink your whisky to access the astringent complex, and when to avoid it.
- How the astringent complex accessed through single malt can be used as your prescription to good health.
- Unique Yogic Sfaim breathing technique that unlocks access to the potent astringent complex and aids absorption of the energy of single malt whisky in minimal quantity, to its maximum benefit. This work expounds on the application of timeless Āyurvedic algorithms to access the astringent neural intelligence through the entity of certain single malt whiskies, it does not promote whisky in general as medicine.
