About the Author
Jodie Shield, MEd, RD, is a recipe developer and freelance writer. She has written more than 300 newspaper, magazine, and internet articles on nutrition. Mary Catherine Mullen, MS, RD, provides counseling to professional sports teams, currently the Chicago White Sox, and counsels overweight and diabetic children and their parents at Rush-Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center. They are partners in JM and Associates, Inc., a food and nutrition communications consulting company and the coauthors of The American Dietetic Association Healthy Eating for Kids. They both live in Chicago.
