Synopses & Reviews
Synopsis
Melanie Travis, her Aunt Peg, and her sister-in-law Bertie are taking to the road to judge a symposium at a Pocono Mountain resort. The director, Margo Deline, is concerned about rumors: one is about the speech Judge Charles Evans will deliver and the other is that a judging scandal will erupt. Judge Evans' speech was definitely controversial, but it certainly shouldn't have landed him dead in a hot tub! While Aunt Peg is being wined and dined by a prospective beau, and Bertie discovers the pleasures of hot rock massage, Melanie hunts down clues. From judges, breeders, and animal rights activists to Charles' wife and his girlfriend, there's no shortage of suspects. Whoever wanted Evans dead won't hesitate to find an unsavory end for Melanie should she get too close.
Synopsis
After heading to a Pocono Mountains resort for some much-needed R&R, Melanie Travis discovers a corpse in the inn's secluded hot tub, and finds herself sniffing out the trail of a killer as frightened guests and the police howl for swift justice.
