Synopses & Reviews
If the costs of the Vietnam War were great to Americans and staggering to the South Vietnamese, they were even worse for the North. And those costs were borne largely by the individual soldiersthe soldiers who won the war.
Based on interviews, soldiers diaries, letters, and government documents, this book, first published in 1992, gives a classic, soldiers-eye account of the war our opponents fought and the men who fought it.
Review
"
Inside the VC and the NVA offers an in-depth and comprehensive examination into the inner workings of both of these organizations...one of the best resources concerning the VC and NVA during the Vietnam War. Anyone wishing to learn more about the enemy America and South Vietnam faced during the war would be hard pressed to find a better book." -- Jason M. Sokiera, Hattiesburg, MS
