Synopsis
Excerpt from Intelligence Briefing on Smuggling of Nuclear Material and the Role of International Crime Organizations, and on the Proliferation of Cruise and Ballistic Missiles: Hearing Before the Committee on Armed Services, United States Senate, One Hundred Fourth Congress, First Session, January 31, 1995
This chart shows what we have come to call nuclear smuggling, which is simply another form of proliferation from Russia and the former Soviet Union. It includes a lot of different technologies chemical, nuclear, missile, and so forth.
Many of the things that we are going to do to stop nuclear smug gling are the same things that we do to interdict other forms of proliferation.
