Synopsis
James Joyce was a great pioneer of modernism, whose writings are deeply human and often enormously comic and compelling reading. He is often, however; considered 'difficult', discouraging many readers from approaching his work. This book maps Joyce's vision of his beloved Dublin, and encourages readers to overcome their doubts about the 'Irish Sphinx'.
