About the Author
Jasper Bark is a novelist, children's author and graphic novel writer. His work has been translated into five different languages and his educational books are used in schools throughout the United Kingdom to improve literacy among 12 to 16 year olds. Prior to this he worked as a film, theatre and art critic for the British National Press. His play A Glasgow Kiss was awarded a Fringe First at the Edinburgh International Festival in 1999. He has collaborated with many contemporary fine artists on performances and installations, including Turner Prize winner Keith Tyson. Jasper's research into these inventions is the culmination of a life long fascination with the works of Leonardo da Vinci. He lives in London.
