Synopsis
No book can hope to provide anything but a taste of this wonderful country: this book uses high class photography to do just that, spreading its coverage over Italy's natural beauty-with sections on Mountains and Hills; Coast and Islands; Lakes, Rivers, and Waterways-as well as its gorgeous manmade structures-Places of Worship; Castles and Fortifications, Historic Houses; Art, Sculptures, and Statues. Finally, there's a section on the subject that most visitors dwell on: Living in Italy-covering food and drink; traditions and culture; and, of course, that subject so close to all Italian hearts-sports: football and skiing, cycling and sailing; and racing-both equine and motor sports.
