Synopsis
The time is the tumultuous 80s and 90s. Rick Rembrandt went to Harvard to be a lawyer, but instead he travels the world doing deals and negotiating contracts. His clients take him from Tiananmen Square in China to the fall of the USSR in Russia. He then moves on to negotiating with the PLO in Palestine and traveling with the President of Sri Lanka just before he is killed by terrorists. He even makes a secret mission into Vietnam while the country is under a trade embargo. His assignments take him to over 16 countries and each one has its own story. Rick lives in Rome, Italy, with his wife, Sally, but he is rarely there at his villa on the Appia Antica, where life is storybook tranquil. Journey with Rick as he tries to complete deals in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The ride is wild, and the results are not always what was planned. Just remember, it's never over 'til it's over.
