About the Author
Alain Surget is a professor of history as well as a novelist. He has written over 50 novels, many of which are set in Ancient Egypt, or have animal conservation as their theme. Annette Marnat studied illustration in Lyon, where she still lives. When she graduated in 2004, her work was selected for the Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators catalog, and commissions from publishers soon followed. She is now a well-established and popular children's book illustrator.
