Joseph Fipps is a very busy little boy. So busy that his mother thinks it's a little too much sometimes. With just the right pitch and tempo, the story builds until Joseph exclaims, "I want another Mommy!" "All right," replies his mom, "I know a walrus mommy at the North Pole who just might have you." Joseph runs off to ruminate, exploring the thrill of adventure along with the loneliness and fear.
Nadine Roberts loves everything about the creation of books. After completing her studies in literature and education, she worked as a video game designer and writer. Today she is a children's book editor. She is particularly passionate about US picture books from the 1950s and '60s. Joseph Fipps is her first book.
