Synopses & Reviews
This Way of the Cross combines the traditional with the innovative. As a traditional presentation, the Stations of the Cross are followed around the church and the usual prayers are said and songs are sung. But where appropriate, the Way of the Cross can be presented in tales by students or actors in the sanctuary. In the second presentation, each station highlights a particular character who, in monologue style, responds to the question, Were you there?"
Synopsis
In each station of this Way of the Cross, a particular character in a dramatic monologue responds to the question "Were you there" with Jesus on the road to Calvary. In the concluding prayer of each station, the individual or group responds reflectively to what was revealed in the monologue.
