Jules Verne (1828-1905) -conocido en los pa ses de habla hispana como Julio Verne- es considerado a menudo un visionario, un profeta de la ciencia y la t cnica que anticipo en sus narraciones inventos extraordinarios como el cohete o el submarino. Casi dos siglos despu s de su nacimiento, el escritor franc s contin a generando pol mica. El importante descubrimiento de los manuscritos originales del autor en la d cada de los setenta arrojaron, de forma inmediata, nuevas luces e hip tesis sobre la autenticidad de las ltimas novelas escritas por el autor galo.
