Synopses & Reviews
Growing up in the Texas Panhandle, Ivon Cecil took piano lessons, learned photography from her father, and visited the city bookmobile at every opportunity. At school she especially liked writing stories with the week's spelling words and the creative writing assignments such as "What would happen if the Antarctic ice cap melted?" Every summer she kept a journal of her family's yearly cross country camping trip. Over the years they collected decals for their van windows from forty-six states, the District of Columbia, and six Canadian provinces.
