Synopses & Reviews
A the first of the year, a fuzzy kitten peeks out the window at gently falling snow. As the months pass, the kitten stalks, paws, tumbles, and leaps as he grows. In the fall he chases leaves, spooks at eerie pumpkins, and boldly sniffs at the Thanksgiving turkey. But it is not until he dreams through December that the once frolicking kitten will wake up a cat. Day's simple, accessible text combines with Mortimer's exquisite illustrations to form this cozy and distinctly feline book of months.
