About the Author
Louisa Harding has been designing knitwear professionally for more than seventeen years. In 2005, she launched a signature line of yarns and design collections in the United States and the United Kingdom, distributed by Knitting Fever. Her designs have appeared in

IntroductionChapter One: Embroidery
Showcases different embroidery stitches including cross stitch, duplicate stitch, lazy daisy, and French knots. Some projects have small amounts of embroidery (using just one of the embroidery techniques) and some combine stitches and feature embroidery worked all over the project.
Projects:
1. Simple moss stitch cloche hat, 2 variations, one plain, one striped, showcasing different lazy daisy patterns in different scales, one tiny, one large.
2. Beret with ribbon embroidery.
3. Textured purse used as a blank canvas to show how to customize with a variety of sampler embroidery stitches, French knots, bullion stitch, etc.
4. Pillow in two sizes showcasing cross stitch.
5. Simple striped cardigan showing how duplicate stitch can be used to add extra color and pattern.

Chapter Two: Beading
Shows how to knit with beads in a variety of patterns, including lace, in patterns from charts, and on stockinette stitch. Adding beads to edgings and picot cast-ons and cast-offs will also be shown.
