Synopsis
Liam Williams is heading to college -- which is easy enough for him, he lives in the eternal present, and eagerly anticipates his independence. But for his mother, Cathleen, and his father, Noah, whose shared present harbors anxiety for their only child's future (and shadows of the past from before his birth) Liam's going is anything but easy. When Cathleen leaves Noah to drive Liam down through New York's Hudson Valley to his school, their separation acquires a poignant dimension . . . and becomes a moving story of coming to grips without letting go.
