Synopsis
"Lilith" is a 1919 poem by George Sterling. George Sterling (1869 - 1926) was an American playwright and poet. He was hailed as one of the great American poets on the Pacific coast, but did not enjoy similar success in the rest of the United States. Other notable works by this author include: "The Evanescent City" (1915), "The Caged Eagle and Other Poems (1916), and "Yosemite: An Ode (1916). This volume will appeal to those with an interest in American literature, especially poetry of the American west coast. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive.
