About the Author
Walter Brueggemann is William Marcellus McPheeters Professor Emeritus of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ (UCC), he is a world-renowned Old Testament scholar and the author of dozens of books and hundreds of articles.
Carolyn J. Sharp is Professor of Hebrew Scriptures at Yale Divinity School. Among her books are Wrestling the Word: The Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian Believer and Old Testament Prophets for Today, published by Westminster John Knox Press.
