About the Author
Mark Shigihara, RPh, is a survivor of stage four pancreatic, ampula, and colon cancer. He is a pharmacist who has been involved with pharmacy education in the realms of industry and academia for more than 25 years. He is on multiple faculties of pharmacy affiliate schools and is an affiliate assistant professor with the University of Washington Pharmacy School. He lives in Bellevue, Washington. Kim Erickson is a certified nutrition and wellness coach and holistic health practitioner who has been involved with the natural and integrative health industry for more than 16 years. She is the author of Drop Dead Gorgeous: Protecting Yourself from the Hidden Dangers of Cosmetics and coauthor of E Magazines Guide to Green Living. She is a writer and editor for the Better Nutrition magazine Healthy Living Guide series. She lives in Las Vegas.
