Book 3 of the Lunar Chronicles develops the relationship and storyline of Cress & Thorne and incorporates in the re-imagined storyline of Rapunzel. Cress does a good job of continuing the formula of adding a new re-imagined fairytale into each book and keeping the story going at a quick pace. In Cress, there is a lot more tying together of the different story lines and more plot points are revealed. While I still really liked this book, it's my least favorite of the series. Cress is timid, sheltered (literally living in a satellite), incredibly smart, and resourceful. The rest of the characters stage a daring escape for her but, of course, it doesn't go fully to plan. The group is fractured and must figure out how to get back to each other while hiding out from both Earth & Lunar authorities.
