About the Author
Professor Catherine McDermott is an author, professor, and curator who has organized exhibitions worldwide. Her books include
Street Style: British Design in the 80s (Bloomsbury) and monographs on Ben Kelly and English Eccentrics. She lectures in Design History at Kingston University, London, and has lectured worldwide at the Pratt School of Art and Design, New York; The University of California; the Paul Getty Center, Santa Monica; and the Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal College of Art in London.
