Horizons is an innovative, basic skills program for adult learners reading at grade levels 4-7, who are on the GED track. Designed to stimulate interest and retention, Horizons combines carefully paced instruction with real-life and workplace references. The program parallels the GED test with one text for each of the five GED subject areas: Math, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Interpreting Literature and the Arts. As adult learners develop and strengthen their basic skills working through the program's format they will stay motivated, thinking ahead to the GED test.
