About the Author
Smriti Prasadam-Halls was born in South India and arrived in England when she was two years old. Sheand#160;taught History and English Literature at an international school in Hong Kong for several years, before returning to the UK to work for the BBC as a staff writer on childrenandrsquo;s magazines. Smriti lives in Richmond, England.

Sebastien Braun studied fine and applied arts at Strasbourg University and taught applied arts before becoming a freelance illustrator for editorial clients in Paris. When he moved to London in 2000, he developed his childrenandrsquo;s illustration style and since then has beenand#160;working exclusively on childrenandrsquo;s picture books, including Meeow and the Little Chairs, On Our Way Home, and The Ugly Duckling (all Boxer Books). He lives in London.
