About the Author
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist, and travel writer whose other classics include Kidnapped and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Michael Foreman is a Kate Greenaway Award- and Smarties Book Prize-winning illustrator who has worked on a vast range of children's books.
