About the Author
Don Gosselin is a technical communications expert with more than 20 years experience. His extensive technology experience includes application development, technical writing, training, and curriculum development. Don is also a highly respected technical author, having written numerous reference works for various publishers and a dozen college-level textbooks for Course Technology/Thomson Learning. His best-selling JavaScript textbook was the first textbook to be published on the JavaScript language and continues to be the industry leader six years after its initial publication. In addition, he has written or contributed to textbooks on Java programming, Microsoft Visual C++ 6 and .NET, Web design technologies, Web programming languages, XHTML, and PHP programming with MySQL.
