Synopses & Reviews
In Musculoskeletal Disorders: Healing Methods from Chinese Medicine, Orthopaedic Medicine, and Osteopathy, acupuncturist and orthopedic practitioner Alon Marcus shows how a complementary approach to diagnosis and treatment of these disorders can use acupuncture, manual therapy, injections, exercise and medications, both Eastern and Western; and that Chinese medicine can be reconciled with western orthopedic models. Balancing multiple theoretical approaches and healing paradigms in a diagnostic and treatment context, Alon Marcus offers a sophisticated text for practitioners applying these insights.
