Synopses & Reviews
Synopsis
If you loved the
multi-award-winning book
Life of a Firefly, then you will be amazed by the sequel, which is a
stand-alone adventure for young adults of all ages.
This romantic coming-of-age story is sure to win your heart as you read about teenage heroine Sandy Forte and her dreams of the perfect summer full of fun, sun, and boys. When she arrives in Texas from Chicago, her vacation begins innocently with joyful adventures and first-time romances. But everything could be ruined when she and her friends get lost at night in a treacherous forest filled with beings alive and dead. Will she solve the generational mysteries and curses that have been buried for decades, or wind up losing the one boy whose love drove him to risk his own life?
This book is a masterpiece And I loved it I am in awe of your writing and storytelling It's not easy to write a sequel because there is a lot to live up to, but you have crafted a beautiful story that is just as strong as the first book. Bravo ... This story is exceptional, and I have no doubt that your readers will love it and it will win many awards again.

Mystery, adventure, teenage drama, and romance, My Perfectly
Imperfect Summer will give you all this and more.
This is one of the most intriguing and unpredictable books I have ever read.
I could not put this book down because I did not want to miss anything.
Sandra Brown Lindstedt covers topics such as racism, puberty, war,
and family. She seamlessly infused many genres into one book and
created a story with relatable and interesting characters. All of
them were memorable. From Sandy's family members to her
friends and the townsfolk, each was described in detail and had a
personality that held my attention. This story will linger in my
memory for a long time. Sandy was a wonderful protagonist with a
dark sense of humor and great instincts. Her internal monologue
was hilarious, and I was rooting for her the entire time.
