Synopsis
"Naarlanders? I spit on them. In the Arctic winter, they drink themselves into suicidal depression. Then comes summer. Endless daylight and sleep deprivation. That's when they drink themselves into murderous rage. No, no, trust me, I'm the only sane one here."
So begins Per Pederson's laugh-out-loud tale of Arctic chaos. Per may think he's the only sane one, but every time he tries to help his fellow Naarlanders he leaves a trail of burning buildings, ruined lives and destroyed romances.
Plus, he's easily tempted. He loves his wife, but there's her friend Anne. And there's the lovely Olga, although Olga wants to kill Per. In fact, while half Naarlen think Per's a hero, the other half wants Per dead. And who's on which side keeps changing. It's all rather complicated...
