This book is particularly essential as it guides parents to effectively relate with their child in the throes of the addiction—after first helping parents examine themselves and confront their own fears, myths, and misconceptions. Dr. Frank Lawlis presents an invaluable, holistic framework to understand and treat these various catastrophic epidemics that claim and incapacitate the heart and soul of today’s young people.
