Se afirma que la histeria ha desaparecido de la consulta psiqui trica. En la clasificaci n de enfermedades mentales de los Estados Unidos pr cticamente no existe. Este libro demuestra que La histeria no solo no ha desaparecido, sino que repunta en las consultas, simulando en forma casi perfecta los trastornos m s promocionados por el mercado capitalista, para dar potencia al nuevo amo y luego denunciar su impotencia, pues nada las alivia, ya que su problema es, como lo dijo Sigmund Freud, que su palabra no tiene un destinatario que la descifre. En la actual poca globalizante, el nuevo amo ya no es la ciencia, m s bien es la ciencia al servicio de la inform tica y el mercado. Y lo que los mercados m s venden son; depresi n, ansiedad, bulimia, anorexia, fibromialgia, dificultades sexuales, trastornos somatoformos y trastorno de agotamiento. Entonces, la histeria, para desconcierto de la medicina actual, reaparece descuartizada, dramatizando estos m ltiples trastornos.
