Synopsis
Essentially a companion volume to the book above, this is a collection of the abstracts of the oldest court records for Franklin County in existence. Ranging over civil suits, appointments of justices of the peace and other officials, references to the principals named in deeds and wills, and so on, the abstracts identify 3,500 persons who were living in Franklin County at its inception and whose names may readily be found in the name index at the back of the book.
