About the Author
Scott A. Travers, former vice president (1997–1999) of the American Numismatic Association, was called the “Ralph Nader of the numismatic world” by the New York Times. He has served as a coin valuation expert for the Federal Trade Commission. He appears regularly on television and radio and has been featured as a coin expert in hundreds of publications including Barron’s, Business Week, and the Wall Street Journal, as well as the leading coin-collecting publications.
