About the Author
Scott Dikkers and the seven-person staff of are based in Madison, Wisconsin. Dikkers helped found The Onion ten years ago and has been editor-in-chief for nine years. Before joining The Onion, he created the immensely popular Jim's Journal comic; he has also directed a critically acclaimed independent feature and several shorts. Additionally Dikkers has written, produced, and directed numerous comedy sketches and specials that air regularly on National Public Radio stations.
