Synopsis
MIAMI - 1983
The Miami Mutilator: a terrifying, sword-wielding force of nature has carved a path of decapitated bodies across the sun-bleached city.
Detective Raymond Fletcher: a former Vietnam War veteran, is one of two detectives assigned to hunt down the deranged psychopath. A solemn grizzly bear of a man that bites down once he's got a case, and doesn't let go until he has his man.
Detective Kara Valencia: Raymond's partner and former Brazilian expat. She's not so much the good cop to Raymond's bad cop, as she is a ball of athletic ass-kicking that likes to poke the dead bodies with a stick to see how they twitch.
Their killer is out there, with a thirst for vengeance and a list counting up to 14/14.
His victims fear his coming... and they should.
A gripping, pulse-pounding mystery thriller steeped in the post-war culture of the 80s. Delving deeply into the darkest depths of government conspiracy and the atrocities of war. Paradyse Warfare pulls back the scab to show you the consequences of one of the ugliest, most violent sections of human history.
This highly authentic fiction was masterfully written based on the experiences of real soldiers ranging from the United States, Australia, to the Soviet Union and beyond.
