About the Author
Robert B. Baker (Schenectady, NY) is the William D. Williams Professor of Philosophy at Union College as well as director and professor of bioethics in the Union Graduate College-Mount Sinai School of Medicine Bioethics Program. He has authored, co-authored, edited or co-edited several books and government reports, including the award-winning American Medical Ethics Revolution.
Kathleen J. Wininger (Portland, ME) is associate professor of philosophy and women and gender studies at the University of Southern Maine and is the author of Nietzsches Reclamation of Philosophy. She has published articles on moral theory, African philosophy, film interpretation, and various aspects of Nietzsche's philosophy.
The late Frederick Elliston, co-editor of the first edition, taught philosophy at Trinity College, York University, Union College, and the University of Hawaii.
