About the Author
Adam Lehrhaupt’s first book Warning: Do Not Open This Book! illustrated by Matt Forsythe, was an E.B. White Read-Aloud Honor Book, was published in four countries, and received much praise. He is also the author of Please, Open This Book! Adam has travelled to six continents, performed on Broadway, and lived on a communal farm. He firmly believes that opening a book is a good thing. Adam currently lives near Philadelphia with this wife and two sons, where he spends his days writing and visiting schools. His first children’s book, My Name Is Elizabeth! by Annika Dunklee, was a named a 2011 New York Times Notable Children’s Book. His illustrations have appeared in many publications including the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
