About the Author
Peter Bently lives in the writer-filled town of Totnes with his wife and a ready-made audience of two young children. A prolific picture book author, he enjoys visiting schools and sharing his writing. Peter has previously published two books with Macmillan: the terrifically toothy The Shark in the Dark with illustrator Ben Cort, and the irresistible Cats Ahoy! with Jim Field. Jim Field is a lead-driven, pencil-pushing, 25-frames-per-second, Led Zeppelin fan. He is also a hugely talented illustrator and animation director whose previous clients have included Waterstones, Sainsbury's, Oxfam, The Independent, The Guardian, The FT, Channel 4, Virgin Mobile and Nokia. Farmer Clegg's Night Out is his second picture book and Jim has once again employed his vibrant, energetic style and witty detail to brilliant effect.
