Excerpt from Primer for Voters
Citizens of the United States, and naturalized citizens who have become naturalized ninety days prior to any election, who are of the age of twenty-one years, who have been residents of the State one year next preceding the election, and of the county in which vote is claimed ninety days, and of an election precinct thirty days, and who have conformed to the laws governing the registra tion of voters, are entitled to vote at any election held within the county, city, town, or district within which they reside.
